The R-2R ladder is a simple, accurate DAC design using only two resistor values: R and 2R.
Each bit contributes half the voltage of the previous bit, creating a binary-weighted output.
Components needed:
• R resistors: Used in the horizontal ladder rungs
• 2R resistors: Used for bit inputs and termination
The output voltage = Vref × (digital value) / 2n
